SILENT RETREAT IN CALIFORNIA
On this silent retreat, you can anticipate being alongside other women participants ages 20+ for a weekend of silent reflection, prayer and spiritual solitude.

Facilitated by the Sisters of Notre Dame, retreatants will be guided toward deep listening to the interior movements of the Holy Spirit. The schedule includes daily Mass (several options available), individual and group prayer, adoration, scripture reflection, individual spiritual direction, journaling, and walking amidst the lovely grounds and a nearby park.

The weekend will begin as we gather for dinner on Friday evening at 6pm (with flexibility on your arrival) and will conclude at 2pm on Sunday. All activities and accommodations will be hosted at Notre Dame Center in Thousand Oaks, CA.  There are ten single occupant bedrooms and a large bathroom with individual showers on the retreat wing.

Led by Sr. M. Anncarla Costello and Sr. Cristina Marie Buczkowski on the 3rd Wednesdays of each month.

Taizé prayer is a beautiful prayer experience including the use of candles, simple chants, scripture and periods of silence and icons. There is no preaching. The prayers consist of “short chants, repeated again and again.” It is a relaxing time to spend with God in quiet and peaceful prayer.

The Taizé prayer experience is very powerful!
