Vocation: What is it?  Do I have one?  Now what?

Come and hear Sister Jenny Zimmerman, SND’s talk “Vocation: What is it? Do I have one? Now what?”

Doors open at 7:00 p.m. and program will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Vocation is a word that we might often hear, however, do we really know what it means?  It’s just something that priests and nuns have right?  Think again!  Come hear Sister Jenny talk about “Vocation: What is it?  Do I have one?  Now what?”  Bring your questions and an open heart as we take a deeper look into the unique call that God has for each one of us!

Sister Jenny Zimmerman, SND

Sr. Jenny grew up in Defiance, OH and completed her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science, with a concentration in Athletic Training.  Entering the Sisters of Notre Dame in 2004, she earned a Master of Theology degree from Lourdes University in Sylvania, Ohio and a certification in the Art of Spiritual Direction from LMU and the Loyola Institute of Spirituality. Sr. Jenny has served in a variety of ministry roles, including hospital chaplain, campus minister at high school and university levels, theology teacher, and strength and conditioning coach. Currently, as the National Vocation Director, she enjoys leading retreats, guiding young adults with spiritual mentorship, and walking with others in their joys and struggles of the faith journey.

Theology on Tap

Theology on Tap is an invitation for young adults ages 18-39 to learn more about their faith and to share in the Catholic community. Theology on Tap is structured around a series of events centering on faith topics of interest to young adults. These events can be held in a restaurant, a parish hall, a coffeehouse, even in a bar; places where young adults already are comfortable and feel welcome.

These events feature an engaging speaker presenting a theological topic, time for discussion, faith sharing, and community building.
